Make sure you read the Glassdoor interview feedback before you apply to Hershey. I wish I had done that. Their “internal” recruitment is outsourced to ADP, their phone screening is outsourced too. The screener will not know anything about the job and will ask you to repeat stuffs that are already in your resume. They may not even know what job you applied for. The process is so cold and demoralizing.
You will waste your time and emotional energy chasing the ADP recruiter (who has an Hershey e-mail address for update about your application status. Hiring managers will ask you to apply for jobs, waste your time with interviews and never get back to you after the 1 week update they promised. But 3 months later, you will get an automated rejection from Hershey.
When you reach out to the hiring managers after the automated rejection, they will tell you that they were too busy to send you the application update they promised to send you within a week after they interviewed.
If you want to be treated like dirt, go ahead and waste your time applying.
No that the person they hired left the job within 6 months.
