Off topic: I am stuck in a service based company for last 4 years in a shitty project. The work I do can be done by a 12th grader. Now i want to move out by learning something new & changing my domain. But the thing is I am not able to study because I am stuck in a comfort zone and learning new thing gives me bad anxiety. It feels like I will never learn & be forever stuck here. Pls help on how to come out of comfort zone, learn things and apply for the job. Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

What are your reasons for wanting to leave HR? Also what do you like about HR? Answering these questions will help with your next move
I am currently a team of one for an office of 115. I have automated many of the HR processes, so I can go weeks/months with little to no work and am finding it hard to stay engaged. I don’t enjoy being the point person for the regulations, Covid, etc…I enjoy taking something unstructured and making structure out of it, so maybe project management?
I am sure that you could be an HR Advisor or Consultant for a company. You may find out that a company may need training and development for the HR department or a mentor. Some HR professionals have started their own businesses.
Learning and Development maybe? Your local nonprofit workforce development office (sometimes run by state government)?
Consulting or Project Management would be easy for your to transfer into as many of the skills you learned in HR will make you a success.
Project Management could definitely be a possibility. I will look into that a bit further, thanks!
Hi, OP! I agree with the PM suggestion. It would be your safest and best bet at this point.
