It can be rather hard not to (e.g. shadow profiles). I would rather pay a fee and retain my privacy, but you don't provide that option.
Also, wouldn't exactly call your policies "clear".
I worked in Google security prior to my current position. I've never seen a more passionate group of privacy and security professionals than the ones at Google, and they are fully empowered to do the right thing within the framework of the company's business model. Google isn't going to change its core business of selling personalized ads, and generally trying to give personalized results because it's a better product, but within those broad constraints the company tries very hard to do the right thing on privacy.

Employees working in the privacy space than these two. And I know FB has put out messages several times welcoming regulation, so long as it applies to all.
Understand the concerns, but hope you recognize some people prefer getting ads for things they might want and not random bladder control undergarment ads all day long. It’s your choice.
How can it be "my choice", when I do not have the option to opt-out of Facebooks tracking?
