Switching into SDE roles and feeling stuck. Been applying for months with zero callbacks. I’ve built Java + Spring Boot projects, updated my resume for each JD, practiced DSA, and reached out for referrals, but nothing is moving. Is the market just this tough right now? What actually helped you break through when you were in this stage?

Is it a red flag to interview with a potential new agency that I'd have to move to a different state for and they never give you a chance to ask any questions or fly you out to meet in person?

My final round of technical Interview was over in Deloitte USI and it was with team members. I think HR will connect with me for package as per team members.
Role : Consultant (Manual tester)
YOE : 5.6 yrs
Current package: 5.03lpa( this will get hike letter)
How can I expect from Deloitte because even for freshers they are offering more, so for 5.6 yrs how much can I expect?

I have been on bench since I joined the firm 3 months ago. Now I have got project but still on bench. I have got mail regarding not raising snapshots because I was on bench so i didn't do anything except trainings and some learning. I don't have hours to raise snapshot for.

What shall I do in this case? I am very much worried that if i don't have any project hours to show, will they fire me or what actions are supposed to be taken ? Thanks.
