But my company wants to retain me and they are giving me an opportunity for Canada onsite in return of retention(no raise or bonus)

Have you thought about doing plaintiff work with no billables?
I recently did this - I took a job at a smaller firm with a substantially lower billable requirement. It was a big paycut but I already feel much better going through the days. I recommend it if you can financially afford to do so. Good luck!
Past few weeks, my firm has been hounding us about our hours and pushing us to aim for "monthly bonuses." I'm tired 😮💨

I feel this but can’t find a decent enough position to allow for it. Switching to a new firm with a better bonus structure so at least I get compensated better for my time while I work on my exit strategy.
I feel the same way but can’t seem to find anything that aligns with this.
Not a crazy idea, just depends on what your priorities are! Just remember a pay cut means you can’t live at the same level you’re used to. A lot of people underestimate their lifestyle and what they consider essentials. If you’re ok with that, then not a crazy idea.
I feel like most defense firms are looking for 1850-1900 hours wherever you go. Is that the case at your firm?
