The other day I posted about being laid off and asked an estimated time frame for locating a job…

I’m wondering if FL is just not affected because I was very worried that it would take months to locate a new place to call home. I filled out 60 targeted applications and have had 3 interviews in the 4 days. I’m pretty sure I have a job at a place already.

But now I’m curious… what is it like outside of FL to find a job?

Is it fair to say once you’re an LS consultant you can always fall back to a tier 2,3 firm? For context I’m looking to go from consulting to a hospital implementation role.

My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I’ve barely taken any days off this year and pick up “skeleton crew” days any chance I get. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote.
