The prime’s PM on my contract fancies himself a developer. He was trying to prove a point about the apps functionality the other day and started making permissioning changes directly in production on the call. For context we have 60,000 users and the system contains highly sensitive data. I told him if he was going to do that I would drop from the call and he lost it. It’s beyond me how these kinds of people get anywhere in life.

So am I naive for wanting to develop friendships with my coworkers? It seems like everyone has a life outside of work and as much as we talk about being collaborative and teamwork, no one on my team actually wants to develop friendships. Is it pointless?
