I don't have any recommendations unfortunately but I am sure you can find someone on Upwork or Udemy!
What really helped me out was Toastmasters!
Ooooh, great idea!
There's a startup called Moxie Institute in the Bay that does public speaking coaching
I found an exec coach primarily for the same reason - to work on my comms. I still have sessions about 1-2 times per month on new /broader topics now — overall very helpful.
Also - there are some comments about price/ budget. When I was shopping around I saw price was very variable and not necessarily correlated with quality. I found my current coach through a coaching platform and I pay less than 100 bucks a month. Some other coaches quoted me thousands of dollars per month. So, do your homework and don’t rush into it.
Sure, I use blossom.team (that’s the url)
My coach’s name is Patty
There are a bunch of coaching services online. Are you looking for something more one-on-one or like a service?
Would definitely check out Upwork, maybe see who has courses on YouTube and Udemy and if they offer private sessions. Probably more room to negotiate on Upwork. Just read the reviews well!
I would check Upwork and also LinkedIn! I see a lot of coaches on there that could be helpful. Maybe check out some LinkedIn groups?
I strongly encourage working one-on-one with a private coach if your budget can accommodate . Private coaching is targeted to your specific needs and level. It is the fastest way to develop, and it is such an important skill. I’ve been working with a coach for years and have transitioned from overcoming fear of doing a presentation to higher level presentation tactics like sales and humor. New York vocal coaching is a great company I recommend. This is an investment in both money and time, but for me it has helped my salary more than double. Best of luck!
What position are you in?
I second Toastmasters! Half the battle is literally just your stage presence.
