The standards of pay for this industry seems to get worse and worse by the year, we need access to more unions in this country, why is there such a lack of entertainment unions?

I once asked a colleague at a radio company how much he's paid monthly, and he outright refused to tell me. In fact, he found it very odd that I asked. I later learned that he was making double my salary. I know it's not an employee's job to fix pay inequity by sharing their salary figures, but I'm still of the opinion that it helps uncover pay gaps.
