The TV stand is sold!! I now have a standing desk (customized with the 2 great manufacturers JIECANG and Jarvis right from the warehouse) and ergonomic chair that I paid $850 for both. Both VERY lightly used, I travel so much. Sadly willing to part with it for $300 (OBO). I move out this week and would love for someone to take it!

Does anyone know if this is normal? I joined a vault 100 firm in September last year. The firm put me on tier 7. In January I had the associate review and everything was normal. After a couple of weeks, I got the call from the hiring partner telling my bonus and new salary (because of the firm-wide salary increase). I realized I still get paid as a 7 year associate. The partner said because I joined the firm later in the year, it’s normal not to advance in the next year. Is it? Thanks!

Interviewing for a Google job. Currently an M2 at Meta. On the cusp of a D1 - what’s the equivalent level for D1 at Google? In Austin - so what salary should I be asking for and RSUs? Currently make base $250k plus 25% bonus and started Meta with 200k in stock. Also to note I’ve reached 5yrs so I have that 30d paid vacay coming up which I would lose if I took the google offer, if I got it. How honest are people when other companies ask for your comp?

New midlevel associate at a big law firm and still ramping up. I’m having a lot of trouble tackling small or discrete tasks that are either administrative in nature or otherwise because I don’t have a full plate and something to focus on. I feel bad stopping in the middle of the day and doing something else (e.g. watching tv)since I’m already not billing many hours, but my brain feels all over the place and think that may be the only solution.
