There's so much discrepancy in packages offered here

for eg: a fresher from tier 1 college is offered 12lpa base+ bonus 1 time (1-2lpa)
and tier 3 college person gets 4-5lpa and ITS THE SAME ROLE as ASE

Last time when i asked for appraisal they were saying i am already earning very high as per the role, then you should've hired us at higher positions??!

Any ideas?

Hi all,

After the final interview, HR reached out and said they would like to extend an offer. HR gave a ball park of 135k - 145k base with about 15k in sign-on equity and 20k annual bonus.

After a couple of days, HR person came back with with 125k base and 20k annual bonus. No sign-on equity anymore. What should I do given that these numbers seem way lower than the initial range provided? HR claimed it’s because of “market conditions”.

Can anyone please suggest which would be best to join:

Cognizant 6.5lpa (6.3 fixed) (0.2 variable)
Or
Sapient 8.5lpa

Sapient mentioned that if I give confirmation of joining they will increase to 9.5lpa before joining in offer.
