There’s someone on my team I genuinely click with. We grab lunch, laugh through late nights, and have way more chemistry than I expected at work. But every time I think about acting on it, I remember the horror stories: messy breakups, awkward fallout, whispers in the office. Law already feels like a pressure cooker without mixing romance into it. Still, part of me wonders if it’s worth the risk. Would you ever date a coworker in this profession?

Risky, but it could end up being your spouse/partner. Trust your gut!

Do it. Romantic chemistry is rare, litigation jobs are not.

Yeah, I would but I think someone has to change firms when it gets serious. I don’t think partners should work together in any profession.
