I collect Pez dispensers. Cheaper and definitely no regrets.
Get yourself a Baby G - It says, "I'm sassy and I'm thrifty" 🤓
I own a two tone GMT Master II. Get tons of compliments. No regrets. Actually made friends with some clients who shared my taste in expensive watches.
Nope. They last forever if you take good care of them. Some people dabble in fine wines/nice cars, a nice watch isn’t so bad. Divide the cost of the watch over 50 years and you’ll think it’s a bargain
Go used first and you should be able to skate under 3k
Agree w BA1, Vintage omega/Rolex can be GREAT value. I would rather get a nicer watch that is older than a lower tier SKU that's brand new (or go for same quality and save the money)
Do clients ever react poorly to these luxury watches? That's my hesitation (well that and can I truly afford one)
Michael Kors bag + Tory Burch shoes + cracked iPhone screen. ÜBER CLASSY.
I have a large collection of fine watches! 3 Breitlings, 1 Rolex, 2 Tags and 2 Tissots. Never feel guilty or have buyer regrets!! Love them all!
Watches are awesome and they are a good conversation piece. I have a Breitling and Rolex myself
Is Breitling like the sort of undercover brand, like it’s a legit watch, but you actually look a little cooler with it because it’s not like “oh fancy pants and his Rolex”?
@acc1 breitling owners like me think so
Watches are not that expensive. They hold their value and will last a long time
You can recognize them by the distinctive slanted links in the band and breitling has strong branding in aviation and scientific instruments
Buy a conservative traditional one
Rolex submariner.
Omega speedmaster from the list you've given. Absolute classic without the potential pomp of a Rolex, and it has a cool story (and costs less than many equivalent alternatives)
What about for women? What is classy and relatively affordable?
