Thinking about entering a teaching position and…cutting my biglaw salary to a third. Has anyone ever done this? I really want to do it, but the financials do frighten me a little bit. I’m 20 and single and very mobile, but this still gives me some pause.

If I initiate seperation from IBM while in the last few days in an account (End date in two weeks), what is the notice period ? Will it be immediately effective or will I be on bench for 1 month or 3 months with salary ?

Although I enter my time on these cases and they count towards my hourly goal, should I ask for a contingency % in addition to my salary moving forward?

Considering the recession and US market scenario, help me understand if it will be a good move to join BlackRock OR should I continue with Walmart with the current compensation.
