I need help. Anyone have information of being an advanced medical support assistant for veterans affairs? I got offered a job in the SF valley . The pay Is a bit less but it's about 5.5 miles from my house.close. Why do people pray for government jobs? At the moment I'm with ucla health as an admin assistant float permanent& have been offered permanent placement at a site in LA about 16 miles . I have a client who needs a 401k, or a solo retirement account w loan options. When I was at UBS/Ameriprise, it was no issue but now it seems tougher to find a firm that does solo 401k as a RIA's.

For those of you who got out at 10, do you wish that you rode it out to 20? I’m at a crossroad and I’m not sure what to do. Have some active/reserve time, wrapping up graduate school, and am now considering either a) come back to the business world or b) go active and retire before 50 and live off a nice pension. Obviously there are draws to both. I’m an officer for what it’s worth so I can realistically retire at O-5, MAYBE O-6.
