Thinking of making a take on Mexican tomato rice. Going to blend tomatoes, chipotle pepper, bell pepper, red onion, tomato paste, garlic, salt, chicken bouillon, & cumin and use that liquid to cook the rice in. Anyone ever made something similar before? Any tips?

Sounds good, except in my opinion raw onion may taste terrible. How about using onion powder instead?

Best Viet/pho spots? I had found my own gem before moving from SF Bay area, but now need a new watering hole. Only place I have been is Little Sister. Very good but not sure pho is their specialty

Does anyone else have really random lunches right now?

I made a salad with cucumber and sprouts because that was what I had in my fridge.
Also had some leftover dairy free chicken pot pie filling (we had it on top of parsnip mash last night.)
And a slice of baguette with some exorbitantly priced French butter.

Tired of of the same old boring tomato marinara sauce? Try a roasted red pepper cream sauce!

Red bell peppers are roasted in the oven until sweet. It is then blended with caramelized onions, garlic, red pepper flakes, sun dried tomato paste, and cream into a silky, smooth and velvety sauce. Finish the sauce with a knob of butter and coat your pasta. Cavatappi works well here. Don’t forget to shave a little Pecorino Romano

Brigadeiro are scrumptious dulce de leche caramel bonbons, a beloved confection of Brazil. Brigadeiro is made from sweetened condensed milk, butter, and cocoa powder which is heated in a saucepan until it thickens and becomes a sticky caramel. Once it cools, it is rolled into a ball and dipped in multicolored sprinkles.

The iconic bonbon was named after Brigadeiro Eduardo Gomes, a 1946 presidential candidate. It was created to win voter support. (He lost).
