IB isn’t really feasible with that background they want finance degrees from a target school. To get into IB with an accounting degree you’ll have to start in Transaction Services for a few years then pivot when the market is good
One thing that may help is doing a LinkedIn search for your school at different banks and see if you can make some connections that way otherwise I would just try my best to get a full time transaction services role which will set you up for later
How are you struggling to move up? You’re an intern
You also need to breathe. Life is long. You’re a sophomore, stressing this much is not healthy, especially when you have a great internship. Work hard, but also enjoy people around you. I used to work with a lot of people like this and they were insufferable
Just to provide some more context - currently studying Accounting at a large state school. Have previous experience from a past summer in financial analysis/accounting for a small wealth management firm. Long-term interest in finance, specifically IB or PE. Ambitious goal but trying everything I can think of.
I don't disagree, hence why I'm trying to move up from where I'm at right now. Not done with undergrad, so there is still potential to move up, no?

Look for IB alumni from your school. Contact them in LinkedIn.
FYI nyu has an mba program for those out of undergrad and Columbia has several masters programs. This is helpful in terms of getting you into NY.
