Tell me your stories. Why made you decide to choose a career that's different and creative? I'll start. I am an extrovert. I am not very keen of studying and that, ideally is the reason why engineering or medical was not my cup of tea. I chose Journalism and Mass Media. In the academics, we had multiple subjects and one of them was Writing for media. This was the beginning. This is where I thought I can be a writer. A Content Writer. Is there special experience or knowledge you'd need to be effective at a GCD level in Pharma? Or is it like any other account, just different products? I'm considering making the switch from general market advertising.

I’m currently a 2nd year associate in commercial finance. I’ve realized I don’t enjoy a a strictly transactional practice. I enjoyed litigation matters as a summer (particularly the adversarial nature). Also, love talking and advising clients. I don’t want the litigation lifestyle and appreciate the in-house opportunities of transactional. Assuming that I could switch (or lateral), I’m thinking I may enjoy employment (and the ability to defend and train/advise). I appreciate any insight.

I am a QA lead looking to break into google Spotify or meta as a program manager or project manager . Can someone please guide me on what does it entail to be a PM at these companies?

is it worth it to shift to IB or MBB after 7 years in the big four(audit and fdd)? I do think IB and MBB are interesting fields that you can acquire unique skill sets and a good network. But I don’t think I couldn’t keep up already for a daily grind. The reason why I did not pursue it earlier in my career is that I am not from a target school and I do not have an MBA. lol thoughts?

For buy side analysts, are there logical career moves one can make after having a couple of years of working experience?

I’ve been a paralegal for about 30 years in private law firmS. As I get older, I feel like it’s time for a semi-career change. The catch is I would no longer be doing corp dev, just FP&A. Does GOC provides night shift allowance?

If I was a junior on a team during a campaign launch, is that something I can put in my book? I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."
