Hello 🐟🎏
When will be the retention bonus will be paid if a candidate joined TCS in the middle of the financial year. I.e September'22... Will that be paid on next year's September'23 Month only after completing an year in TCS?
And will the Retention bonus will also be considered as taxable income of the the current year taxes(2022-23)?
Looking for valuable suggestions!!!

Thoughts on a Omega De Ville Prestige as a first luxury watch? Would be ~$7.5K USD at retail. Some friends have said great things about Omega as a starter, whereas others say it’s not worth it over a Rolex Oyster Perpetual (which would be similar in cost).
I personally love how clean the design is, the use of gold, and the thinner band as it links the watch … find the Rolex band design to be too chunky.
More details on the watch here: https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-omega-de-ville-prestige-co-axial-chronometer-39-5-mm-42420402002001

Nothing wrong with leasing, if it’s the right fit.
- Don’t drive excessive mileage (30k+ a year) as that leaves a lot of potential for overages.
- If you only keep cars for 4 years or less. Financing a car, especially one with a steep depreciation curve like that, you don’t “own” anything at that point. You’ll be lucky to break even with resale unless you did short term financing/large down payment.
- You value always being under warranty/maintenance agreements.
Financing for a lot of people makes less sense than they might believe.
Sure. Always have to run the numbers based on rates, incentives, etc for your particular situation and need.
Some people also don’t realize while you can’t normally lease used vehicles through manufacturers, there are third party companies that will. Really common in the exotic car world, as those companies will also do super long terms since the cars they deal with don’t depreciate on a normal curve.
Just to give a level of support here: As long as the mileage allowance makes sense and you are comfortable with an EV, some of the lease deals Ive heard about of the last year are insanely good value. I say go for it
Thx all. I’m thinking of going for it. It’s an 85,000 vehicle that I’ve negotiated down to approx 850/month for 24 months. I’m thinking of going for it just to give the PHEV world a try. And hey, if I hate it, I’m done in 2 years.
Update: went for it.
