Hi fishes, I attempted an interview for software engineer post at Amdocs. I cleared the first round of interview and later contacted the recruiter for the same. The recruiter replied by saying they will let me know once panel will be available.
It’s been around 2 weeks I haven’t heard from the recruiter.
Can anyone guide me and help me with the same?

Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

No it’s not that bad. We just hold ourselves to a slightly higher standard than the others. And some firms hold themselves higher than us. Basic stuff.
VAMS... pretty low standard there.

Don’t. Bad idea through and through. Jump ship to a better place when you do.

Don’t move unless you’re making more.
It's not cutthroat as in we are looking to stab people in the back. We are, from what I have told, hunt to eat at the higher levels. Which yields a lot better comp for top preformers but puts a lot of stress down stream.
I wouldn't advise to move since Deloitte is making one resource work for two. They hire, put you on bench and then tell you that you don't have good year end.

It’s been said but one of the main benefits of jumping is the short term higher pay. Youre starting from scratch with a new organization and will have to begin the networking process gaining trust and proving yourself all over again. Doing all that for an early promo and the same pay sounds like a very bad decision.
Don’t forget about the long term trajectory for their career. Deloitte may be a much better option in that regard.

Bad if you’re not getting 20%+ more pay. Nothing is guaranteed in terms of projects & experience, and yes, Deloitte is cut throat. Unless you can quickly form relationships with senior leaders/have an “in” already, it’s hard
Do not jump to D unless you’re getting a significant raise, I’m ex D and would require 30%+ to go back lol

How do you define better projects and why do you think they have those better projects ?

This is a super false statement D2 - MC is very different from TC and I can guarantee your project at D ain’t any better/ more interesting
This depends significantly on your network and the luck of the draw
If you’re in technology, Deloitte is a much better destination compared to PwC. It all depends on your career path however.
I wouldn’t stay at PwC if I were doing implementation projects.
Deloitte very quick to trigger the layoffs.
