How hard is it to pivot to a BDR/SDR role as a tech consultant from a boutique firm with 1-yr experience? I don’t have previous sales experience, except for my time at a call center which lasted for two months until covid hit. What should I be doing now to bridge this knowledge gap? I’m a senior associate and received an offer to join a very profitable client as general counsel that would open lots of doors professionally and financially. What should your realization rate be as a first year? I have not gotten any negative feedback but my realization rate seems...bad

6th year PE associate with offers from DPW and Weil. Anyone have any insight on either? Culture, partners, etc. Stay away from either?

I cried at my desk for the first time today. Year 3. I’m tired.

I realized recently that I can turn my “super associate” persona at any time. I had it off during covid when my kids needed me and got a bad review. So now it’s back on. I’m responding to midnight emails (and daytime ones in under 20 minutes) and getting work done the same morning. I’m spending countless hours doing edits over edits. I actually don’t like super associate. Why do people live like this 24/7?!? 🤔
