How unlimited PTO feels

Hi folks, how is thoughtworks as an organisation?
Asking because I don't know much about it and have received recruiter's call today. Currently I am working in Deloitte. How is thoughtworks hikes, wlb, does it provide any benefits apart from fixed pay? My research gives me a mixed review: some say it's good, some say that thoughtworks is not stable enough like big 4 or other organisations. Pls help Thoughtworks Deloitte

Looking for feedback for a Project Management Platform for SMBs, freelancers and Founders
Hi! A friend recently launched a Project Management software called Heycollab - I think it’s pretty cool and like the UI but I’d love to get more feedback - they’re very passionate about the product and would appreciate the help!

I just started an investment network for angels/accredited investors to get connected with startups and small businesses. We have 20 pitches and many more building pitches, but struggling to onboard accredited investors. Anyone have any advice/ideas for outreach?? Really passionate and willing to work any channel to expand our network. Thanks you!

should always be paired with a "minimum" pto policy to encourage the time off

Expanding on the “it’s a trap” comment. unlimited PTO is a screening mechanism - super users get stuck in their career or managed out even in the best cultures. Yes there very rarely exceptions for absolute rockstars who are also very visible typically in the co, but that’s definitely not 98% of us. Good users “aka good culture” either don’t take PTO or take what would otherwise be a normal allotted amount, but are screwed for payout if they leave (often a month or more of pay). In a hybrid work world, leaving early / coming in late but getting your work done means no one says anything anyways. Unlimited PTO is a trap
You forgot to mention, at least in my experience, that your minimum vacation time is paid out yearly on top of the unlimited pto (mental health days, sick days are part of this). Your pay cheques will be slightly higher with this in consideration and this when you leave the company you don’t lose out on banked vacation.
As someone who uses my leave rather than collect it, it seems beneficial. I suppose if you hoard it for a payout later it would suck.
I went from a company that gave 18 PTO days (and added like 15 more ontop of bank days) to a company that had "generous PTO" that gave 15.
Sometimes I wish I had unlimited to take days off for mental health/such instead of banking days for months to take a vacation
Generally means the job could be quite stressful, in most cases, with little chance of getting someone to take up your role when you’re away and so much in the pipes that being away can mess with how you’re perceived.
That said, those who are politically skilled know how to drum up how much is on their plate and how much they’re accomplishing, prior to asking for a time off.
So can be a red flag, but again, with chaos comes opportunity

Once again, all it means is that they have no real HR and are early stage. Everyone else has an opinion that has no basis in experience.
Love how everyone that does nothing consequentially in product, supply chain, ops, beyond has a self endowed thought on personal time off.
Makes me root for robots.
Shopify disagrees with you Ajay. They have unlimited PTO and it’s used regularly and consistently.
