I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

Looking for input on an internal struggle I am going through. How do you rationalize settling in the US/Canada while your parents live alone in India? I am having a hard time deciding if I should move back to India so that we can be close to our parents. They don’t guilt us to to come back, but I know they feel anxious thinking about managing their life as they grow older. They did and still do everything they can for us. I feel I am being selfish if I settle in US. Contd....
