MCQ til you want to quit the exam then keep going.

Do you know what your learning style is? I retained more by physically writing down my own notes watching Becker videos and going through their books. Then I would study my notes, and take MC questions. Any question I got wrong, I would try to understand why it’s wrong.
My peer buddy is studying for REG and I told him to make flashcards for the different ways to calculate basis! It saved my life on the exam
I would write them out on colored index cards. For example, I put “p’ship inside basis” on one side and the calculation on the other side
This is somewhat of a cram method but has been my plan. I passed FAR last month and just sat for BEC. Watch all lectures on 1.5-2x speed, then go back and do all MC. Make sure you mark the questions you get wrong and are getting close to 100% on each section before you move on to the next. Once you get through all the MC, do the final review (if using Becker) and then pound as many progress tests as you can using a mix of questions from all the units. At that point if you still have time, take a mock exam to see what your weak areas are and spend some more time practicing those. Finally, a few days before the test I like to watch the Becker skillmaster videos of around 10-15 random sims just to get a taste of what the exam might test. I prefer this method to actually spending tons of time doing the sims on my own. If you’ve watched the lectures and done all the questions, you know the material well enough to do the sims - it may just be a matter of familiarizing yourself with the way sims may be formatted - that’s where watching the skillmaster videos comes in handy. I don’t take any notes except on the key mnemonics and formulas, I find that it just wastes time and slows me down.
If you have Becker just keep going over the MC over and over again.
^this was my strategy. First, do all the multiple choice for each section of REG. Then, do MC sets of 20 covering all REG material over and over. Review the ones you miss. Then do a 100 MC test and review the ones you miss. Aim for 70-80%+ on the MC and you should be good.
Don’t worry I failed audit back in January with a 71 just started this past week to review for an exam on the 27th and forgot so much
