I think most importantly you should reflect on your current achievements and contributions within the company, highlighting how they relate to the internal role you're pursuing. You'll also want to be prepared to discuss specific examples that showcase your capabilities and potential for success in the new position. Best of luck to you!
Thank you. Invite says video interview with JD and my resume as attachments. Is it good to have a deck ready with my achievemnts so far and my plans after i get the new role ?
Definitely recommend studying all job requirements & expectations. Reach out to mentors in and out of company that can give feedback on what has been helpful in their interview processes

Set up an informational interview with the hiring manager if you haven’t done so. Connect with folks on the team you’re looking to join and get an idea of what makes them successful in the role and goals/objectives the team has and then speak to those in the interview process.
Polish up the resume and have it ready to go. Worst thing Ive seen with internal candidates is them showing up with an outdated resume that doesn’t even have their current role.
Biggest word of advice, putting effort into the process will make you stand out. If all candidates are internal, chances are they aren’t doing the little things to stand out like you are.
Good luck!
My advice would be to make sure you are prepared in both your knowledge and skills, especially in the supply chain domain. Research the company and the role, and understand the position responsibilities. Good luck! :)
research the company and if you know the people interviewing you research them as well.
I’m surprised no one said this yet but don’t doubt yourself. You know what you are or are not capable of. I have found that confidence is a big factor in interviews - I used to get so nervous about them and would stress for days but at the end of day, what’s the worst they’re going to say? No? BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. It sounds so corny but seriously, people can hear and see it. Best of luck to you! 😊
Totally agree with this one. Confidence goes a long way in interviews. I don't mind job-hunting and the interview process because you learn a lot about this broad industry and people within it. Also, you get a feel for the people who you will be potentially be reporting to. You come prepped, ready for the common questions and answer honestly but with optimism.
