Any in-house counsel in here willing to post their company, level or YOE, and total comp breakdown? If you’re comfortable, please consider posting both your current stats and what your stats were when you first moved in-house. If there’s any other information that you want to share, please include that too (e.g., hours, interesting perks, etc.). Info on in-house salaries is pretty hard to come by, and it would be great to compile some data points here! Facebook Amazon Google Netflix Apple

There are wonderful recommendations in this thread but I’m sad I don’t see any fiction.
1. The Wind-up Bird Chronicle
2. Middlemarch
3. Moby Dick
I’ve always meant to read Middlemarch. Maybe I will join you.

1. Oathbringer (stormlight archive)
2. Why nations fail
3. Kafka on the shore
The Expanse series
In terms of business books, "Strategy Beyond The Hockey Stick" from the McK strategy fellas is quite good.
1. All Quiet on the Western Front
2. Man’s Search for Meaning
3. Abolition of Man
All very doable books, if you want longer/deeper and along the same respective lines I suggest
1. War and Peace or anything by Tolstoy/Dostoyevsky
2. The Gulag Archipelago
3. Anything by Rene Girard
