I know a handful of people who are half-trying to, but I can’t think of anyone who has made a clean break, on their own terms, into something that appears to be making them feel more fulfilled than they were in the ad biz. Been in consumer insights all my work life (10 years) and considering pivoting to product or product marketing manager roles.
