The question was if it will look good on a resume, which is obviously true. Senior looks good on resume too.

I made manager 2 years ago and it does look good, but it seems rare to find a company that is actually willing to offer a senior manager or director position straight from big 4. Most are only willing to offer a manager role that pays 5 to 10% more than big 4
I was a manager and then became a senior analyst in industry. You’ll find that public accounting promotes relatively fast and doesn’t line up 1:1 always with industry titles, which tend to be slower
