Pretty good
I think the comp is fair, but if you think you can get 15-20% more, got get the offer. If you cant get an offer for more, then stay.
Nothing to even consider here unless you go and get the higher offer.
Good luck!
If non technical sounds about right but as always shoot your shot
It’s technical and non technical depending on the project, I’m able to handle either type of role
That’s pretty good for your experience level!
I do pretty technical work, so I’m thinking in this market I could probably get about 15-20% more
If you have a better offer on the table, you're probably not overpaid. If cloud is your specialty, you might be able to get 20% more base.
I’m not cloud, mostly the ERP side although sometimes that’s cloud based ERP work. I’m thinking I could still get another 15% - 20% more in this market
Very fair
this is good, very fair
If you are measuring you experience in years and a half then yes this is pretty good comp for that experience and level.
Coach
I was at 190k base, 15k bonus as a tech M with 8 yoe at D before I left for AMZN. It depends on the supply and demand for your skillset and yoe as they can sell projects much easier if they have resources with lots of experience.

What's acoustic
You'd def get more at B4 in today's Market (170+ for M) but then qualitative stuff like wlb should be considered, having to build network again, etc
It’s fair comp, though I didn’t see city on here. That makes a difference. Just bc you have fair comp doesn’t mean you can’t entertain other/better offers
I’m in the Midwest, MCOL city but I think I’ve gotten the consensus i was looking for. Comp is fair, but it could be possible to get better offers if I ventured out
I just accepted a big 4 offer in similar work with 155k base, 10-25% bonus, and $25k sign on. So seems pretty inline. Only benefit would be a one time sign on bonus but you will lose all your goodwill you have worked so hard to build.
MC1, was the offer for ERP manager in HCOL area?
def fair. It's possible you could get more elsewhere but that wasn't the question, so yes, fair pay.
Thank you everyone! This was really helpful!
For consulting I think it’s alright, might get some more jumping to a different firm but you can also jump into tech for way more. I just switched to tech company and doubled by guaranteed comp and with the potential bonus and additional performance stock I can make almost triple. I have almost 5 yoe.
Which tech company, PwC1?
