Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

I guess if you are the smartest one in the room, you are in the wrong room. So go cure cancer or become a brain surgeon you smarty pants you
Investment banking or private equity. Maybe you won't have the strongest ego in the room there...
LOL

@K1, I'll look into market risk, thanks for the suggestion! I was wondering about HF opps, maybe going to grad school for fin engineering first then living the quant life. 👩🏫
Investment banking is not for smart people lol. OP if I were you I'd go into data and analytics, research for hedgefunds or maybe even become an options trader if you're super smart
IB people are not the smartest, they just work long hours. Their work is arguably more repetitive and easier to master than ours
Lol risk audit and compliance that explains it all
I think the quality of talent in our Risk practice is not that high. I am a strong senior in the "other" FS practice, and it's very difficult to get promoted in my practice.
Yeah if you are talking about SOX risk audit, then I think you need to branch out your competency a little.. ITGC is not that hard to master.
I'm in risk and I would like to stay in that area. I get that my post is self-aggrandizing but it's more nuanced than that. I'm saying I don't think I deserve to be considered "strong" in my area, and that I want a place that will knock me down and hold me to higher standards.
@op go work for a large bank or hedgefunds in "market risk" ! Sweet spot
IBs are for boring redundant not so smart people
