That just seems like poor planning...or one of those emails intended to say "Look, I'm working at 8am on Sunday!!"
Yeah, I totally understand the sentimemt. But I have found a lot of partners like to do a couple of hours of work on Sat and Sun. Maybe it's level, maybe it's generational,....I thinks it's an important data point as we think through our careers. What it takes or how we would do things differently, should we be fortunate to get to that level.
At 8a or FOR 8a on Sunday.....because there is a big difference lol
At 8am. But I don't see how it is so critical to be sent out on a Sunday.
People work at different times. Maybe that person took Friday off. So long as it isn't on 8AM on a Sunday, I'd say you do you.
For those practice-wide invites, it's most likely sent by an admin and not the person whose name it appears to be from.
Diane. Just doesn't seem time sensitive so why send it on a Sunday...even if you were off Friday.
Methinks thou hast too much angst...
I like preparing on Sunday for the upcoming week. I developed that habit in industry prior to consulting though.
Fair.
Preparing is different then sending meeting invites to 200 people more than a month in advance :)
