I have applied to several positions up Google. I have not heard anything back at all. No matter if I customize my résumé to the job description I still don’t hear anything back. I am wondering as to why Google ghost people instead of just telling them that they didn’t get the job? Do people on Google believe it is appropriate for the recruiters just a ghost people especially if they feel they don’t match the job?

G2 is referring to the post interview feedback I think. Recruiters will also try harder to schedule your on-site sooner, if you have something else in the pipeline. And they’ll push the packet to HC sooner. So if you have something, you really should let them know let G1 said
They will expedite which really just means that they email us recruiters asking us for a quick thumbs up / down.
Nothing else changes
One of the first questions the recruiter would have asked should have been if you’re actively interviewing and if you have any other offers in the pipeline. Ic they did not, let them know now, and they do tend to move a bit quicker if there’s a competing offer. If you do try to negotiate using a competing offer, recruiters/HC have been known to ask for proof of the competing offer, just as an FYI.
