Received my first prenatal massage at 19 weeks today and the therapist was trained and did a bit of myofascial stretching techniques. Never touched my stomach. Just lower back, arms, legs and feet. So I recently interviewed for an associate PM role with my current company. I’ve been a store manager with them for 11 years. During the interviews, I felt like things were growing great and the feedback I got at the end was great. You’d think given my time knowing the product/ company for so long, that I’d be a great fit but I got rejected and haven’t gotten feedback probably will get ghosted. Should I shoot my shot and advocate for myself with the hiring manager either way?

Context, i have 10+ years in advertising experience, and founded a startup in 2020 (with a Sr Developer as cofounder) but had to drop the startup for personal reasons (moving to another country) and i really liked building a product and getting technical.

I’m working a internal consulting type of cost engineer role and is seems like a good position to gain skills in that could apply to becoming a PM in the future. I have also worked in design engineering and engineering analysis roles. Have a BS in mechanical engineering and a MS in Data Analytics Engineering.

Are there any courses you’d recommend that look good on a PM resume?
