So I recently interviewed for an associate PM role with my current company. I’ve been a store manager with them for 11 years. During the interviews, I felt like things were growing great and the feedback I got at the end was great. You’d think given my time knowing the product/ company for so long, that I’d be a great fit but I got rejected and haven’t gotten feedback probably will get ghosted. Should I shoot my shot and advocate for myself with the hiring manager either way?

I don't see why not. At this point you have nothing to lose, and worst case scenario you're right where you are right now. Hopefully they'll give you some actual feedback and not just blow smoke.

Welcome to the sad but real world my friend, loyalty is a thing of the past. But, yes you should still message them, even if it’s for feedback.

Hi fishes,
I had got a call recently for manager role in process mining.what is the starting salary band usually given for such a role?

I was recently promoted to a new position at my company. I'm so excited to be taking on this new challenge, but it's not going as well as I had hoped.

I've been given a lot of responsibilities, which is great. But I don't feel like any of them are being prioritized or delegated appropriately. I'm getting a lot of pressure from my manager, who is quite demanding and doesn't seem to understand that I need time to get things done and learn new skills.

In Business Development, $173k base, 17,5% bonus and $80k RSU. 11 YOE. I gave a specific salary number versus a range when I was interviewing and feel like that set me back. I’ve done research and at established startups and tech companies base salary range is $170k-$280k for my role. Been in this position for a little over a year and have been promoted once. Any advice on adjusting my base? Should I get an offer from somewhere else and go to HR?

Hi Fishes,

Need your guidance for one situation where I have cleared first round on Small tech company and followed up for nearly 20days and no reply from them and meanwhile I got my first round interview cleared in another Big4, partner round yet to be completed.
After 20 days small tech company wants to schedule a call with same interviewer manager from Big 4 as they are vendor in project implementation.
Now, I don't know who the deal with this situation. Please share your views.

I asked really thoughtful questions last time, I’m drawing a blank on what questions to ask now. Should I repeat same questions? or does anyone have ideas of what I can ask this round.

Is it harder to meet billables in certain practice areas? I’m in T&E and in busy times I’ll be working on 15 different clients in a single day. I feel like I lose so much time task-switching and my billable hours also don’t reflect the mental load I carry around thinking about all the moving parts for so many different clients. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Have you found any time entry or organizational tools that have helped you?
