What group gets the cool shit tho
I was there less than three months ago. It's completely void of culture. Turn over is super high. Morale is low unless you're in a group that gets the cool shit - and only one group gets the cool shit. Benefits were standard for the industry. Biggest perk? They announced that they're stocking the fridge with free soda. That was a big deal apparently. Cup of ice is still a dollar though... 🤦🏼♂️
A cup of ice is a dollar???
Individual results may vary, and different groups can have different experiences. Turn over is generally in-line with the industry (some groups higher than others). Overall, I'm seeing a lot of positive things happening. My particular group (not the one LB1 is referencing) is seeing relatively low turnover, and the agency is growing both in revenue and recognition. Leadership is solid, with an articulate vision of where the agency is headed. And proceeds from the $1.00 cup of ice (or latte, or mocha from the coffee bar) goes to fund pediatric aids research.
There are opportunities for everyone to do cool shit, but you have to put forth the effort.
The culture is inclusive and leadership continually strives to foster that-I believe we're now at 51%+ women.
I like working at FCB.
Ooo FCB 2 is pissed! Let it all out! I'll listen, but it'll cost you a dollar.
Sorry you had such a bad experience Leo 1. Funny how two people can have two completely different views of the agency. The fridges are also always stocked with alcohol. 😊
^You're buying a decent cup of coffee for $1.00. No one is forcing you to buy it. The proceeds go to pediatric aids. If you're that against your coffee purchase going towards pediatric aids, walk over to Starbucks and pay $3.00 toward their corporate bottom line. Ask them for a free cup of ice while you're at it.
This has been helpful. Appreciate the feedback!
Fair point. Cool is relative in this case.
...........If I'm going to donate money, I'd like to be able to choose what charity my money is going towards.
