Faced this weird behaviour from Optum recently. Gave interview for Data Scientist position. HR said feedback is positive. Asked for documents. It's been month now since I have shared the documents. I have no update on the offer. Today I called HR, she called me back saying the position is on hold due to recalibration in team, She has shared interview feedbacks to other teams and will get back to me in couple of days. I am clueless now. My last working day is approaching (In a month). Any Help??

Yep this exact same thing happened to me too. I was wondering if it was just me, or maybe just the specific team I was applying to, but sounds like it's more of a trend than that. It's weird because I've actually heard good things about working for them, I wonder what's going on.
That's super bizarre! Is it a recruiter reaching out to you or someone from the actual hiring department at Geico? I can't imagine they know this is happening, I've always heard really good things, too.
These are actual GEICO employees that have reached out to me after I applied for the jobs. Unprofessional to say the least.
What a shady thing to do. It's like they are trying to keep a candidate's attention and away from other companies while they have more time to assess if they actually want to interview you or not.
