Hi all! I currently work as a Project Specialist and a Scrum Master for an agile pod. I want to get an official SM certification. We don’t follow SAFe yet but we are moving towards that methodology, so we have the SAFe Scrum Master Certification (SSM) available through work (which I am signed up to complete). My question is from the resume perspective does the SSM cert have the same significance as CSM?
Thanks in advance for any input!
I am awaiting my CA Finals in May 22 and already have two offers in hand coupled with lots of confusion.

Hey y’all: Plaintiff’s PI lawyer from NC here. Been working at the same small firm for 5 years. Good results on cases sent from Partners, but really struggling to bring in any clients on my own. Lots of pressure to do this. Everything else at the firm is good — work-life balance, good hours, decent pay, great colleagues. Just not sure the “client development” is ever going to happen for me. Considering a DOJ job defending tort cases. Thoughts?
Ad agency designer desperately looking for an out but I have a possible new job opportunity. Here is my dilemma:
Pros.... more money, no crazy client demands, pitches or decks or even prospective clients that will go nowhere (in-house), better benefits
Cons.... this is a big one - it’s healthcare
I’ve been at agencies with a range of clients for the past few years. Career suicide taking an in-house healthcare job? Especially if role focuses more on growth & performance over design?

My male boss takes the easy way out and re-uses “strategies” over and over, or he takes my work for one account and shoddily uses it for another. He gets frustrated with me when I point this out or question how he’s approaching a client problem. Others in the agency now come to me because they don’t like working with him. I don’t want to work for him anymore, but I also don’t think I want to leave the agency. I do get a lot of autonomy but seeing his output compared to mine is so frustrating.
In some situations I think I’m pretty socially awkward, particularly I never know what to say when someone mentions a family member passing. I was on a video call with 2 project team members and at the end one mentioned she’s attending a funeral for a family member passing. I’ve been with this project team for about 9 months now. The other guy said a few things and expressed his condolences. I just froze even though I knew I should say something but said nothing, and she wrapped the call..
I joined Mindtree this month and they said there will be client interview. Can you please let me know how it will be, whether easy or tough?
My ACD has suddenly become a micromanaging monster. We’re on a project that’s going to last months. They’re already down my throat. Can/should I approach them (for my sanity) and how to go about it?
Another associate on my project but in a different workstream (and practice at our firm) chatted me at 11pm and said he missed me (weird). I met him for the first time last week and he sent the message last night during a remote week. He also sent a few other messages like “I hope we have the same weeks on the client site” and “We should get drinks after the dinner” etc. I didn’t say anything or respond with my interest. I basically just brushed it off. How do I draw a line?

I am a tester at level 10, working in a US project. We have our agile meetings in US timings. But the thing which annoys me the most is we work in whole day and then we sometimes have to attend the meetings till 9:30 pm IST at night. We are told to login late next day but still my productivity falls after 8:30 pm.I feel that attending these EST meetings is the duty of the onsite lead. My onsite lead expects us to attend those meetings till 9:30 pm.Kindly suggest. What should I be doing? Am I expected to attend these?

Deloitte 🐠, Qq about the well-being subsidy- how exactly is it paid out? I entered a 60$ well being expense and on our paycheck last week it appeared as an extra line gross income “well being subsidy” for $60.00, but then also showed up under deductions as “well being subsidy” for $60.00, I tried to reconciled the amount but it seems like I actually didn’t get the money? Any insight here?

Is it just me or are 3-day weekends so much better for both employers and employees? For employees, obviously 1 extra day with way better mental health coming out of it. For employers, my drive and efficiency is way better and outcomes are considerably better, even if it’s a 4-day work week. Maybe it’s just me... This has been adopted in the Nordics. Can some consulting firm push this please. I’m sure expectations can be set with clients.
