We are just about halfway through the year. Yep. That fast. I know.

What are some things you’re proud of at this point in 2024? Doesn’t have to be work related, can be personal as well.

For example, I’m proud that I’m making it a point to focus on what my best mental health at least looks like. Trying to achieve it is work on its own, but I can at least say I’m working to be better in that area and I’ve made a concerted effort this year.

I feel like my brain is dying. I can barely think let alone think of good ideas. I’m angry and depressed and it’s consuming my thoughts.

Anyone with type 2 diabetes while on the road each week? What works for you and how do you keep your blood sugar levels in control? How do you monitor your levels?

I have a looming sense of self hatred. I take medication I workout and do all the things to feel good, but it’s just stuck there. Constantly thinking I’m trash, in a bad person, etc. Feeling guilty for things idek if I should feel guilty about. This is a privileged problem and I know it’s minuscule to compared to the actual struggles of so many people in the US and abroad. Just wondering if anyone has felt this as well and if so, how do you get rid of that self hatred?

any insights on working in an internal strategy role at any of the large insurance carriers? ideally would pivot to insurtech after a few years but not sure if this is the right move in the interim

What salary to expect for director of pharmacy at encompass health?

I am scheduled to fly from NYC to Mumbai via Paris next Wednesday (Jan 5) for a ~10 day trip. Have any of you, your family, friends, etc. flown a similar route (I.e. from US to India via Europe) in the past week? If so, what is the arrival process (Covid test, quarantine requirements, etc.)?
