Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP Thinking of making a lateral move into big law, but not major office like NYC or Chicago. Work at a mid size regional law firm in Hartford, but billing big law hours (210-240/month) and getting paid %50 of market. Granted I’m in hartford. Do any big law firms with Hartford branches get paid top market? Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP
I was just offered a CUNY role. The title is Higher Education Assistant. According to Glassdoor, the average annual pay for that role is $83,418. However, I was offered $62,500. I requested for the minimum annual salary to be 75k. Does anyone have experience navigating the CUNY system and their pay?

We always have a minor violation or two, but it's normally not very serious stuff so we're able to fix it and not have any fines. Glad you passed the inspection though! I never look forward to those!
Yeah some of them seem to take their job VERY seriously lol. I get a little kick out of it because it feels like they just need to feel important so they act like a police officer or something. Haha as long as we pass with only minor infractions though, it's fine with me!
Thankfully ours are never really that stressful. Our management does a really good job of doing most of the work so we don't have to worry about it, lol. Perhaps that's why it doesn't seem as stressful, as the managers are the ones who deal with all the stress.
Haha yeah if you don’t have to deal with it, is better that way!
That's tense. It's always complicated when you have to deal with someone who already has a scary reputation. Luckily for us, we have always had very nice health inspectors, and everything has been alright so far.
I know right? Normally our inspectors are pretty nice, but this time, not sure why we got this lady. I’m so glad it’s over!!!
