Sonoita, southeast of Tucson has plenty of wineries and vineyards. Just don’t fall in love with how beautiful it is or you’ll never come back!
Also love Senoita! Beautiful and eclectic wineries too. Rune was a fave down there
I love the cottonwood area to stay (there’s a great little hotel there, Tavern Hotel) Then the Sedona/oak creek wineries are pretty close and you can hire a shuttle driver to take you from one to the next. There’s also a great shuttle service from Scottsdale if you don’t want to stay overnight, it’s called “the wine wagon”. Fav wineries up there for me are Page Springs, Alcantara and DA Ranch. Have fun!
Phx resident since 97 and wino. Definitely spend your time at Page Springs in Cornville, which is very close to Sedona/Cottonwood. In Cornville, there are 3 wineries within 1 mile of each other. All if this is about 2 hrs north of the airport.
In Sonoita, there are several good ones like lightning ridge, but they are mostly 10-15 mins drive time apart
There’s another wine festival on March 25, hosted by Arizona Wine Month Festival, go and take pictures of the bottles!
