I’d say what you listed is call basic excel formulas tbh. I would think more along the lines of building out financial models

Anecdotal but I use a lot of countif, xlookup, pivot tables. Try using chatgpt to practice some vba.
OP, your list + EY1 should be good to go.
I wouldn't get caught up in vba unless it was specifically mentioned, though.
Sumproducts, calculated fields in pivot tables, vba, index/match, nested if statements

Sometimes yes, sometimes no, index march can be written to do more flexible things than XLOOKUP
