Hi Fishes
I would like to know about the client interviews (especially in data science or machine learning roles).
Are these interviews tough?
Are these interviews meant to assess technical knowledge? For example, what is binomial distribution, what are different data structures in python, ml algorithms etc.
I would request each of the nagarrians to share their thoughts irrespective of the technologies you are working.
I am thankful to you for taking time and helping me out.
Nagarro

He went to Wharton and now works at PwC.
Clearly, he fucked up somewhere...
He isn’t at PwC. He was at McKinsey. We both joined this other company some months ago during the great quit.
There are always gonna be scrubs associated with strong brands. Trump went to Wharton too, for example. Think of school as a signaling tool rather than something to idolize.
Sounds like he just doesn’t give a shit

I’ve seen some real morons from Wharton at both the UG and MBA level
I would say we have 5/6 diff exBCG people in our teams/ other teams we work with, and they are all super nice. Like not making fun, they are all actually really nice and helpful and eager to help actually.
How do you know where he went to school? I don’t know where any of my colleagues went to school (and honestly it doesn’t matter after a few years of experience anyway, it really only helps with getting your first job out of college if you’re at a target school)
The running joke about a few of them is that you never need to ask - you’ll see it on their twenty pieces of branded university clothing they’re wearing.
Frankly almost any Business degree is next to worthless in reality. It’s about networking. Trump went to Wharton and man his success is huge, nothing like it and he does good stuff, incredible stuff. Lol
Neither of us work at PwC now. I went there from PwC. He came from McK. I looked him up on LinkedIn.

He went from McK to PwC? Yeah definitely screwed up somewhere.
Also I’ve been seeing some friends from high school get into the Wharton MBA program recently. They must be lowering their standards to a degree.
PwC 2 yes. We both went from diff places to a third firm that I don’t want to name.
