my father gave me his TT sub (late 1980’s model) in 2010 for my birthday (he upgraded). still love it and wear daily. I do think prices are headed down. not many wearing mechanical watches these days. so if you like em I think prices will fall with demand.

kinda sad, but I have a garmin fenix 5 and love it too, but it will soon be replaced by something newer. rolex will still be around and attractive 20 yrs from now.

My in-laws used to own a jewelry store, and they had this Omega quartz watch in their storage. I can understand why this wasn’t sold during their clearance sale lol. I had no idea Omega made stuff like this in 1987! I guess they couldn’t help it after the rise of quartz watches in the 70s to 80s. I doubt they’re worth anything even to this day. I see them on eBay for $700-1200, so who knows…

Has anyone seen Omega’s new Seamaster? Thoughts? I mean the only thing that’s stopped me from going 20,000 ft underwater is the right watch…unfortunately at 45.5mm in diameter and 56mm lug to lug, it’s too big for my small wrists. Oh well, guess I won’t be going underwater. Just kidding haha - I think it’s cool and I do like that they ditched the HEV
