What are exit opportunities like when you work in Accounting Advisory in a big 4? I would like to put myself on a path to one day become a senior accountant at Google or similar tech company, more so on the revenue recognition side. Would transferring from Audit to Accounting Advisory help me?

I am a Business Analyst
I worked in the same org for 5.5years and switched in march 2022. I was not allocated a project for 3 months hence changed the org and joined new in July 2022. Now its been 4 months and I am on bench here too with no project proposals coming in. Will it be a good option to go for another switch in comparatively secured organization considering current recession?

My team is falling apart. Initially, we had 2 associates, 1 VP, and 1 Director. The director left, and now they are waiting to backfill the role. My VP thinks I’m not ready for the role, but I have an offer at another place. An associate is about to leave, and so am I! So why do I feel so bad?

How do you prepare for the role of technical architect? What kind of preparation do we need on daily basis?

After graduating with my MBA with a focus in project management, I moved organizations to go from an EMR education manager to a full time project manager specializing in EMR implementation projects. I’ve found that although I enjoy the work- changing organizations and roles in a remote world was harder than I anticipated. I want to be great at my job and I think connecting with others that have gone through similar things could help.

Just finished my first year in audit. Recruiter reached out to me for a role with a 30% bump in salary. Total comp included it gets closer to 45%. I actually enjoyed my first year and especially being done with busy season now feeling pretty good. Not at all actively looking to leave, but just looking for advice on if I would be crazy for not pursuing an opportunity for so much more money at least a little further. Really what I care about is my long term career more than anything

Currently accepted an internship at a firm for the winter and also just accepted a separate internship over the summer with a B4 firm. Should I inform the other firm that I already accepted a later internship with a B4 firm or keep it to myself until the internship is over? They are totally different positions and I wanted to have some experience with both but worry they will take it wrong.

But due to the diminishing demands of the role in IT industry , I am planning to switch my career in Devops or AWS which would help me grow.
