Roederer Nv brut is incredible at $22-25 - equal in quality to a lot of champagne at $40-50

Go for cava, not champagne if on a real budget. If you’re willing to spend a little, look for grower champagnes like Pierre Peters - he grows grapes for the big champagne houses but also makes his own champagne and it’s delicious (and a fraction of the price!)

Kirkland champagne from Costco

The Trader Joe’s champagne is actually good and great price point!

TJs or Costco. Also check out laSt bottle, they sometimes have champagne for less than $20

Schramsberg J Schram - wine range $50-$90 - You’ll probably need a Wine-Searcher account to find the lower price range

New to Toronto, moved to the west end of town/ just past - in Etobicoke. I celebrate my 40th a few days after NYE/NYD - would love some recommendations on moderately priced but nice ambiance restaurants for myself + husband, and my extended family. Everyone is scattered throughout (Hamilton, Barrie, Lyle, Newmarket, North York). Don’t want anything too fancy but don’t really know where or what is good and not downtown.

Any recommendations? (Open to GTA of course).

Looking for a used AWD SUV ~$20k price point, what would you recommend? Ideally 2012 or later with under 100k miles. Reliability and low lifetime maintenance costs are number 1 priority. Plan would be to run it into the ground eventually, not resell. Third row seating is a plus but not a requirement. Live in Colorado.

I need advice from the collective. It seems like there is a trend to sell wine in unique bottles. The only problem with this, those bottles will not fit into my wine fridge. Has anyone transferred wine to standard bottles and are you concerned about the wine one it hits the air? I’ve looked at vacuum stoppers but not sure if this is a good idea or not.

Big fan of this one. Not super bold. More velvety. Subtle leathery taste, hints of vanilla! I picked up a half case for 120, or $20 a bottle! I may actually buy more. 8/10 for price and taste. Very elegant.
