Just got an offer as a management consultant with a government procurement firm. Very disappointed in the offer, but ready to make the jump from public to private. I recently gave interview for SAP labs india , cleared all the rounds and got the call from HR for salary discussion, everything was agreed and HR said I will be receiving proposal offer by the end of the day which I need to accept and after that they will be releasing offer letter , it's been almost a week since the call , HR is not picking up and I haven't recieved any mail yet . I am quite tensed and anxiety is creeping in . Can anyone help me with reason why it is taking time ?

Have a qq on background checks. Just got an offer from a T2 firm and wanted to see what comes up as a red flag in background checks. A few years ago I was arrested for disorderly conduct, but the charges were dismissed. Do background checks only raise red flags for convictions or does an arrest (even with a dismissal) warrant the offer retraction?
