What are some exit opportunities that aren’t traditional accounting? I’m familiar with the FDD/transaction services route but was wondering what else is out there? I am at the point where I truly despise audit and traditional accounting which is why I need to make a switch. Just curious about some other options?

Just became an ACD. Im in a limbo. Half of the time im being treated as a Super Senior AD and the other half im being treated as a Almost CD. Then when im scoped over work that my CD and I oversee, some people are asking me how does my role differ from the CD’s, as they tend to look at me as an unnecessary layer for approvals. Switching team internally competing with external candidates. was asking a promotion for next grade midpoint but was ok to accept >=50% hike which i told hiring manager before the process start itself which he said will consider if I'm the one selected.
