2 weeks, you can try to negotiate but you'll lose, I didn't get a bonus, and I haven't received my vacation pay either
PwC2: does that apply at all levels Associate through Director? Any idea where we can find that verbiage on spark or kcurve? Do they also pay out vacation?
EY1 I would try to negotiate weeks paid per years of service, vacation payout and to try keep the bonus that is due to me for last year's work. For those that have been laid off how do they tell you if you are in the middle of an engagement? Do you get asked to come back to home office? Phone?
Contract absolutely doesn't say two months - where the fuck did you come up with that? I have the contract in front of me. It's at will employment - all they are legally required to pay is vacation.
And also "negotiable?" How entitled r u dude
Severance depends on level and tenure. You can check your own employment agreement somewhere on kcurve. It's not negotiable, but sometimes they'll be nice and set your last day out a week or two.
Of course, severance is not negotiable.
Was last week in July why am I still on fb
Because the people are fun. You are an alumni consultant!
I know that if you have been with the firm for 4 years, our employment agreement specifies 2 months. >5 years and it's 3 months.
What exactly would your leverage be in such a negotiation?
It's in the employment contract you signed when you were hired. Not sure of the other details.
But again, what is your leverage? I.E. Why would they even entertain a counteroffer?
It's not usually in an employment contract. Check benefits. If it an ERiSA plan it will be eithe there are in your policies
@mistersteve, yours must be different than mine. I'm looking at mine now it it definitely says that it's 2 months if I've worked with the firm for a specified amount of time that I'm not willing to share on this app. What level are you? Perhaps that's the difference.
Also, simmer down.
PwC not "entitled" at al but have been in industry and Big 4 and know people from both sides that would agree, that in certain circumstances, the weeks paid is negotiable.
