Salary range for SM at astellas is 125-208. Recruiter will definitely ask for your expectations in the 1st call, so you can't really dodge here. They'll likely push you towards the lower end.. and say something like you have to agree before you can move fwd in the process. In my case, I agreed even though their hiring range was too low. When they called to make an offer, I was upfront and told them what I was making at my current role. This was a lateral move but I didn't want a pay cut, obviously.
I also dont want a pay cut, they mentioned they will go 155k max but I dont want to go below 165-170k…do you think they can consider?Bdw, in ur case which country they offered? Does it make any difference?
usually if the range is really wide (50k-100k), it's the salary band at that level. the hiring range is a much smaller range, like 10-20k.
Interested to know what others put in as minimum salary range as well. I put in flexible and that got me 0 interviews so far. This is for Director roles though
I had an interview for Director role at another pharma and the range they gave for that role was 195-215. The range in job post was wider but during HR screening to my surprise they shared the narrower range.
