Dispensing with them entirely. 😊
Go rogue. Play bingo if you must. But I would be edgy and say we’re not doing it.

I find people generally do not do or enjoy these games. The one that I think is the least boring is the shoe game when the groom makes an appearance.

At mine we did trivia about the dog and then the MOH asked my husband a bunch of questions and I had to try to guess his answers. He was very good at that - have creative and witty and cute responses - so it was fun.
I’ve done these at friends/family showers: Guess the number of kisses in the jar, Mad libs, who knows the bride best, what did the bride say vs the groom say
Lol I was just responding to the question
No games is my favorite game.
Bridal bingo. Give all your guests a blank bingo card and let them write in possible gifts. Then they can check them off as you open them. First to get 5 in a row gets bingo. We had a few cute prizes to give out and it gave everyone something to do during the present part which is the most boring.
I’m not big on games either but my mom set up a matching game for everyone to play while they ate. She printed a bunch of photos of me and my now-husband on a sheet and then scrambled the captions on another sheet. Then the guests had to guess which was which. Whoever got the most right, won. I liked that one bc it was personal but passive and didn’t require much planning besides printing more things out.
Find the Guest is an ultimate icebreaker. Another is Who Can Make the Best Cocktail. Lastly Interactive Scavenger Hunt.
